Lidija Delic (1986) was born in Niksic, Montenegro. She graduated from the Department of Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Belgrade and, in 2015, she obtained a PhD from the Department of Multimedia Arts, University of Arts, Belgrade. As a student, she received the 2008 Serbian Gerda Henkel Prize. Most recently, Lidija was artist-in-residence at the Glo’Art Center, in Belgium, and at Intercambiador Acart in Madrid. She has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows, including ‘Into the Great White Open’ (Podgorica, 2012), ‘Into the Wave’ and ‘It’s Hard to be … in the Time’ (Belgrade, 2013), ‘Parallel Vienna’ (Vienna, 2015), ‘LISTE Art Fair’ (Basel, 2015), ‘Seascapes/Into the Wave’ (Belgrade, 2015), ‘Interspace’ (Belgrade, 2016), and ‘Sunset Journeys’ (Milano, 2017). Lidija’s artwork can be found in various private and public collections, including the ING Collection, Amsterdam (The Netherlands), the Drawing Collection of the Faculty of Novi Sad (Serbia), and the Gioielli di Carta Auction House, Rome (Italy). She is the co-founder of the U10 Art Space in Belgrade.
