Nemanja Golijanin (1983) comes from Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He graduated from the Department of Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Belgrade. As a student he was involved in a number of group projects and international workshops. Amongst these, the most important one was his work with murals, prepared for the project ‘Through Character against Violence,’ in collaboration with the Serbian Ministry of Youth and Sports, and subsequently presented at the international workshop Real Presence. Based on his remarkable accomplishments in the field of figuration and drawing, Nemanja received a prestigious scholarship from the Faculty of Fine Arts, providing him with an opportunity to be an artist-in-residence at the International School of Fine Arts in Monte Castello di Vibio, Italy. Some of his acclaimed exhibitions include ‘Strict Picnic’ (Belgrade, 2011) and ‘Naked Lunch’ (Podgorica, 2015).
